D&B settings

Introduction

Dun & Bradstreet (D&B) is a provider of credit information on businesses and corporations. You must first have a subscription agreement with D&B in order to use their services. Such a subscription is associated with a specific user ID and password for the user account.

Menu path

System ➔ General ➔ Settings ➔ D&B settings
Click Settings on the toolbar, and then click D&B settings

Fields

D&B Web service Connection settings section

User ID

Type a user ID to log in to the D&B web service.

Password

Type a password for login purpose.

Check Web services

Click this to establish a connection with D&B. If the user ID and/or password matches, a message "Check Web services: Successful." will be displayed. If the user ID and/or password do not match, the following will be displayed:

Note: Clicking this button will only establish a connection with D&B. You cannot retrieve data packages or perform any other functions.

Click this to view all the information of the changes you have made in the settings.

Save

Click this to save all the changes you have made in D&B settings.

Close

Click this to exit.
